What Is HRD Corp?
HRD Corp (Human Resource Development Corporation) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia.
HRD Corp allows registered employers to:
- Contribute training levy
- Claim approved training costs
- Develop employee skills using HRD Corp claimable programmes
HRD Corp claims are made by employers, not individuals.
Who Can Claim HRD Corp Training?
You can claim HRD Corp training if your company:
- Is registered with HRD Corp
- Actively contributes levy
- Has available levy balance or approved levy access
This typically includes:
- Private sector companies
- SMEs and large corporations
- Companies registered under the Companies Act 2016
- HRD Corp covered industries
Important:
Only the employer submits the HRD Corp claim. Employees do not claim individually.

Who Can Attend HRD Corp Claimable Training?
Eligible participants include:
- Malaysian employees
- Full-time staff of the claiming employer
- Executives, managers, supervisors, and operational employees
Note:
Employees do not need individual HRD Corp registration. Only the employer must be registered.
When Can Employers Submit HRD Corp Claims?
