C.O.R.E. HR : Fixing Silent Toxicity In Teams
9 – 10 December 2025
Program Overview
The C.O.R.E. HR – Fixing Silent Toxicity in Teams masterclass was successfully held on 21 May 2026 at Delima, Richworks Corporate Training Headquaters, Seksyen 13 Shah Alam. Facilitated by the esteemed legal and HR practitioner Mr. Saiful Farhan, this intensive 1-day program brought together business owners, senior executives, and HR leaders to confront one of the most destructive yet invisible threats to modern corporate performance: silent toxicity.Â
Unlike open friction or loud arguments, silent toxicity is an underlying hazard that slowly paralyzes organizational productivity. It operates in the shadows through passive-aggressive behaviors, information withholding, and shallow agreements that lack real execution commitment. The session was strategically curated to give leaders the diagnostic precision needed to spot these warning signs early, dismantle passive-aggressive team patterns, and replace them with a robust framework of trust and mental security.
Key Learning Outcomes
By the end of the workshop, participants were able to:
- Recognize hidden behavioral patterns and subtle communication shifts that signal deep-seated team toxicity.
- Utilize the "Iceberg Model" to look past surface-level complaints and identify the actual root causes of low workplace morale.
- Deploy early detection strategies using specialized diagnostic and observation tools during everyday team interactions.
- Master the A.C.T. Conversation Model (Acknowledge, Clarify, Take Action) to guide sensitive, difficult staff interventions constructively.
- Cultivate psychological safety by adopting specific leadership behaviors that encourage honest, fearless communication.
- Formulate an immediate Action Plan to restore dynamic accountability and transform the team culture from the ground up.
Programme Experience
The training atmosphere inside Dewan Delima was highly collaborative and reflective, giving leaders a safe and strategic space to dissect real-world behavioral issues affecting their current workforces.Â
The morning opened with Understanding & Identifying Root Causes, where Mr. Saiful Farhan systematically broke down how unaddressed silent toxicity erodes an organization’s bottom line. Participants studied the “Iceberg Model” of behavioral psychology, realizing that low performance is rarely a capability issue, but often a symptom of low psychological safety. Through interactive diagnostic exercises, managers learned to audit their own team communication channels for hidden warning signs.
The afternoon session moved from diagnostic theory into practical corporate defense with the A.C.T. Conversation Model. The energy in the room was palpable as participants engaged in realistic, high-stakes roleplay simulations practicing how to handle passive aggression and information withholding without escalating tension. The day concluded with an individual Action Planning & Commitment segment, where every leader charted concrete, immediate next steps to bring back to their departments. Attendees left Seksyen 13 fully prepared to silence the toxic undercurrents in their companies and build teams driven by absolute transparency and radical ownership.
