What is HRDC In House Training?

For employers contributing to HRD Corp, you generally have two paths to upskill your workforce: sending employees out to open public workshops (Public Training) or bringing the entire program directly into your organization. This second option is what we call In-House Training

Simply put, HRD Corp In-House Training is a high-impact corporate learning program organized exclusively for your company’s employees. You don’t share the training room with external organizations, and the entire schedule, case studies, and practical exercises are focused solely on your operational ecosystem. 

Under the HRD Corp Claimable Courses (formerly SBL-Khas) scheme, this internal format can be executed in two ways depending on your team’s structural setup:

100% Levy Funded: As long as your company’s HRD Corp levy account has a sufficient balance, the approved course fees are debited directly from your fund via the e-TRiS portal. Your company experiences zero upfront cash flow strain, as there is no out-of-pocket payment required to us as your registered Training Provider.

Is Your In-House Training HRD Corp Compliant?

Your training is fully customised, but it still has to sit inside HRD Corp’s rules. We build every program around those rules from day one, so your e-TRiS submission clears without back-and-forth.

Soft Skills Group Limit Up to 50 participants per group, per trainer
Technical Skills Group Limit Up to 25 participants per group for hands-on modules
Minimum Trackable Duration 4 hours per training day, minimum
How Much Can You Claim Per Day?
Full-Day Session (7 hours): RM 10,500 per group, per day
Half-Day Session (4 hours): RM 6,000 per group, per day

This is the rate for the whole group, not per person. Focus-area, industry-specific, and certification courses work differently they’re billed per-pax, based on actual attendance.

Your HR team uploads the documents at least one day before training starts. We're on standby for any system questions.

Step 4 - We Deliver, You Don't Pay Upfront

Trainers run the session on-site, off-site, or online. We claim directly from HRD Corp zero upfront cash flow strain on your end.
