Capcut For Marketing Video Dominance [Basic To Intermediate]

Program Overview

The CapCut for Marketing Video Dominance (Basic to Intermediate) programme was successfully conducted on 6–7 April at the MBSA Convention Centre, bringing together a diverse group of digital marketers, content creators, and entrepreneurs. This two-day intensive workshop was designed to transform mobile video editing from a time-consuming task into a streamlined, professional marketing workflow.

The programme focused on the practical application of short-form video strategies, specifically tailored for high-engagement platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels. Participants moved beyond basic editing, learning how to structure content that captures attention within the first few seconds using the “Hook, Body, and Call-to-Action” framework. 

From mastering the CapCut interface to leveraging advanced AI-powered tools, the training ensured that every attendee could produce high-quality promotional videos directly from their mobile devices, ready for immediate publishing.

Programme Experience

Delivered in a highly interactive and “lab-style” environment, the programme emphasized hands-on creation, ensuring participants practiced each technique using realistic marketing assets. 

Day 1 focused on the Foundations of Video Structure. Participants explored the psychology of viral content before diving into the technical aspects of “Rough Editing” – splitting, trimming, and arranging clips into a cohesive story. A major highlight was the session on Audio & Rhythm, where attendees learned to sync their edits to the beat of the music, creating an emotional impact that keeps viewers engaged. The day concluded with the implementation of AI Auto Captions and typography styling to ensure maximum readability. 

Day 2 advanced into Intermediate Techniques & Marketing Output. The focus shifted to sophisticated visual layers, including Chroma Key (Green Screen) and background removal. Participants mastered the use of Keyframes to create dynamic movement, such as smooth zooms and animated logos. The workshop culminated in a Capstone Project, where participants edited a full 30–60 second promotional video. By the final session, every attendee had gained the technical confidence and the specific export settings (1080p/4K) needed to dominate the digital marketing landscape with professional-grade video content.
