Effective Communication Skills For Professional
Program Overview
The Effective Communication Skills for Professional programme was successfully held on 15–16 April 2026 at MBSA Convention Center Shah Alam, facilitated by the engaging trainer, Mrs. Asma Tayeh. This two-day intensive workshop brought together a diverse group of executives and managers looking to elevate their presence and influence through the power of strategic communication.
At the heart of the programme was the C.O.R.E. Formula (Clarity, Openness, Responsiveness, and Empathy) a practical framework designed to replace vague interactions with impactful professional exchanges. The training focused on breaking down communication barriers and equipping participants with the tools to lead discussions, manage team dynamics, and present ideas with newfound confidence in high-pressure workplace scenarios.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Apply the C.O.R.E. Formula to deliver messages with clarity and professional empathy.
- Master non-verbal cues, including body language and tone awareness, to build instant rapport.
- Navigate difficult conversations and cross-functional challenges with high emotional intelligence.
- Structure impactful messages using the A.I.M. (Audience–Intent–Message) framework.
- Handle Q&A sessions and persuasive speaking with poise and confidence.
Programme Experience
Delivered through a series of dynamic simulations and real-life workplace scenarios, the programme provided a safe yet challenging space for participants to refine their speaking and listening skills.
Day 1 focused on Foundations of Effective Communication. Mrs. Asma Tayeh guided the group through the nuances of communication dynamics, highlighting how active listening and tone awareness can transform professional relationships. Participants engaged in “Verbal Mastery” exercises, learning how to use strategic questioning to bridge gaps and build understanding between team members.
Day 2 moved into Communication in Action, where the focus shifted to high-stakes interactions. Participants explored “E.Q. in Action,” learning how to manage professional disagreements and communicate effectively across different cultures and seniority levels. The programme concluded with a high-energy session on Persuasive Communication, where attendees practiced structuring messages using the A.I.M. Formula to ensure their ideas were not just heard, but acted upon. Participants left MBSA with a polished communication toolkit, ready to influence and lead with impact.
